Abstract:
The study was conducted to determine the processes involved in the production of the anti-bullying video; determined the elements considered in the video production of anti-bullying; determined the evaluation of the respondents on the anti-bullying video; and determined the challenges encountered in the production and evaluation of the anti-bullying video. The study was conducted from January 2016 to March 2016. A guide questionnaire was made by the researcher and interviews for the needs assessment were scheduled.
There were four sets of respondents who were chosen purposively in this study. These were the key informants, review board-evaluators, video experts and the student-respondents.
The study had undertaken two components: the production and evaluation.
Three stages were followed for the production of the video: Pre-production, production, and post-production. Then, the video was evaluated by four chosen respondents. There were three sets of evaluations form for the four respondents. The data were tabulated and analyzed. Thus, they were presented in descriptive and narrative form.
Results showed that the overall rating of the video experts and key informants together with the Review Board-Evaluators, were “Excellent” with the mean of 4.52 and 4.51 correspondingly. As for the students who used quiz type to evaluate the effectiveness, they answered the questions positively by getting all the correct answers.
For the improvement of the produced video, the stability, scene composition and color management should be enhanced for consistency. Also, the appropriateness of the background music and modulation of voice over needs improvement.
