Abstract:
The study was conducted to determine the perception of the residents of La Trinidad on 7-in-1 herbal wine; to determine the sources of information on 7-in-1 herbal wine; and to determine the level of awareness on 7-in-1 herbal wine.
A total of 130 respondents from the different barangays of La Trinidad was the respondents of the study and was surveyed using structured questionnaires. The study was conducted from December 2015 to February 2016. Data were organized and subjected to statistical computation using frequency and percentage.
Majority of the respondents were males whose age ranges from 21 to 30 years old. Almost half of the respondents were married and have been to college level. Their sources of income are from employment.
Based on the study, majority of the respondents perceived that 7-in-1 herbal has medicinal value. Most of them did not hear anything about 7-in-1 herbal wine. Among those respondents who heard of 7-in-1 herbal wine, most of them indicated their friends as their source of information.
Most of the respondents were not aware on 7-in-1 herbal wine. They were not aware because they have never heard the product and there is lack of promotion.
As to the level of awareness, the respondents are still at level one which means that among those who have heard the product, they do not know the manufacturer which is Kerobee farm, they are not aware on the ingredients of the product, on the health benefits of the product, the place where to buy the wine, and its price.
