dc.description.abstract The study was conducted to evaluate the yield performance of ten Chinese cabbage cultivars under Bilis Santo Tomas Central, Baguio City condition from November 2013 to January 2014. Woori F1 was the earliest to form heads followed by Cr Matibay, M60, Champion F1, Cr Alabama F1 and Summer Star F1. Champion F1 and Alabama F1 produced big heads, while M60 produced the longest. Cr Matibay, M60, Green Cool, Champion F1, Cr Alabama F1 and Cr Chesney produced the heaviest heads as well as the highest total yield. All of the Chinese cabbage cultivars had low incidence of Clubroot disease, except for Summer Star F1. About 10 to 25% of the foliage affected by slugs two weeks after transplanting while infestation decreased at harvesting. Vigor 60 had the longest shelf life while Vanguard was the shortest. Woori F1, M60 and Cr Chesney F1 were observed to have compact heads while Cr Matibay produced slightly compact heads. All of the ten Chinese cabbage cultivars were accepted by the market, except for Cr Matibay and Cr Alabama F1 which were slightly accepted. M60 was observed to be profitable in Bilis, Santo Tomas Central, Baguio City as it produced the highest return on cash expense. en_US
