dc.description.abstract The study was conducted to describe the epidemiology of rabies in Benguet Province in the last 11 years. The eleven-year data compiled a total 108 positive rabies case. It showed that the trend of rabies in Benguet for the past eleven years had a regressing trend from 2004 to 2009 and formed a stable trend in the last six years from 2009 to 2014. Further, results revealed that the most commonly affected animals were dogs, ages 3-6 months old, unvaccinated and owned. Rabies occurrence was reported mostly during dry seasons of the year and largely distributed from urban areas of Baguio City, La Trinidad, and Mankayan. en_US
