dc.description.abstract School administrators set the direction for long term development of the school, and giving sufficient flexibility and authority to implement specific duties and plans involved in the day-to-day operation of the school. Also, administrators uphold education for the students. This is applicable in the e-learning environment. Online school administrators have to strive for excellence and continuous improvement. Overall, management and administrative practices were classified into seven kinds namely: planning, motivating, controlling, organizing, coordinating, evaluating and supervising practices. The study determined the administrative and supervisory practices of ESL online schools in Baguio City for the school year 2015-2016. This study covered a total of 64 respondents from various ESL schools. A complete enumeration of 14 ESL online school administrators and 50 ESL online teachers was considered respondents. The researcher made use of the descriptive method of research with the use of questionnaire checklist. The data and results of the study were treated with descriptive and inferential statistics. Determined in the study are the extent of practice of administrative and supervisory practices as perceived by ESL administrators and ESL teachers; significant differences in the extent of practice of administrative and supervisory practices as perceived by ESL online school administrators when compared according to administrator's profile and the significant difference between the perceptions of the ESL online school administrators and ESL online teachers on the administrative and supervisory practices of ESL online school administrators. In general, ESL online administrators perceived they had higher extent of practice of administrative and supervisory practices as compared to the perception of ESL teachers. Generally, there are priority needs in the extent of practice of administrative roles as for planning, organizing, controlling and innovating practices. The supervisory practices in ESL online school as for evaluating and monitoring are fairly practiced. With regard to the profile of administrators, some significant differences exist. It is highly noted that the extent of practice of the administrative and supervisory practices is highly significant when compared according to length of service and trainings attended. Hence, ESL administrators are encouraged to step up efforts to strengthen school leadership, ESL school administrators can work collaboratively with ESL teachers to make appropriate change to maintain full implementation of the overall practices, ESL schools are encouraged to recruit leaders with related experience and high competence, and professional development programs can be provided to ESL administrators and teachers to advance their competencies to fully achieve the objectives of administration and supervision. en_US
