dc.description.abstract The study was conducted at Lengaoan, Buguias, Benguet from February to April 2016. The objectives were to evaluate the difference between minimum and conventional tillage on the growth and yield of potato varieties; determine the best potato varieties in terms of resistance to pest and yield; determine the interaction effect between the tillage practice and variety on the growth and yield of potato; and determine the profitability of growing potato as affected by tillage practice. Based on the results, tillage practice did not significantly affect the growth and yield parameters of the potato plants. Granola Mexican significantly out yielded the rest of the potato varieties. There was no significant interaction between tillage practice and variety on the growth and yield of potato. Granola Mexican grown under minimum tillage recorded the highest ROCE. en_US
