dc.description.abstract The study aimed to determine the potato variety with the least cost in terms of farm inputs; determine the best potato variety in terms of net income during dry season; determine the estimated cost and return of the four potato varieties namely: Granola, Igorota, Raniag and Fina. A total of 40 respondents were chosen purposively for planting these varieties. Results revealed that those using Igorota has the least cost in terms of farm inputs and at the same time has the highest in terms of net income during the dry season. Those using this variety achieved in terms of cost per kilogram. In addition, it is the highest in terms of yield and net profit-cost ratio. On the other hand, those using Granola variety has shown the highest in terms of prices received regardless of grade compared to the three varieties. Those using Granola achieved the highest but also the highest total cost. en_US
