dc.description This is a master’s thesis regarding growth and yield performance of non- heading lettuce (lactuva sativa l.) in La Trinidad, Benguet condition. en_US
dc.description.abstract Seven non-heading cultivars were evaluated under, La Trinidad Benguet condition from January to March 2015 to evaluate the growth and yield, identify the adopted cultivar and determine the profitability of non-heading lettuce. Result show that all the varieties did not differ significantly in the days from transplanting to harvesting which was harvested at a range of at 39 to 43 days. Among the varieties evaluated Green Wave was significantly the tallest and had the highest total and marketable yield, while Xanadu had the heaviest plant weight. The highest return on investment (ROI) was obtained from growing Green Ice at 47.35% followed by Deep Red at 40.51%. Negative ROI was not observed. en_US
