dc.description.abstract The study was conducted in La Trinidad and Atok, Benguet. The respondents include 20 producer-member of the Benguet Organic Producers Association (BeOPA) and Cattubo Organic Practitioners (COP). The study aimed to identify the level of entrepreneurial competencies of the members; to identify the problems they encountered and to recommend possible solutions for the problems. Findings shows that majority of the members are moderately or relatively strong on the following areas of entrepreneurial competencies: opportunity seeking, goal setting, information seeking, systematic planning and monitoring, persuasion and networking. However, some members are weak in commitment to work contract, persistence, risk taking, demand for quality and efficiency and self-confidence. The problems encountered by the respondents are the following: lack of capital, afraid to take risk, lack of self-confidence, lack of training and seminars, and inadequate information from the organization. en_US
