dc.description.abstract In the region, Benguet State University-College of Nursing (BSU-CN) has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and success in the nursing profession. This study seeks to fill this gap by examining the diverse career paths and accomplishments of alumni, shedding light, and documenting the notable positions they have achieved within the healthcare industry and related sectors. This study aims to identify the following: (1) notable career paths pursued by BSU-CN alumni according to healthcare filed and non-healthcare field; (2) notable positions within and outside the healthcare field according to location of work and type of curriculum; (3) proportion of notable alumni within healthcare field employed as college/university president; dean at a college or university or a similar role within a hospital or community setting; writer with an extensive audience outside of academia; specialist in an academic nursing profession; contributor to an important discovery or development in the nursing profession; prominent in individual in an organization/company/government. The study utilized a quantitative approach specifically, a descriptive survey to accomplish the objectives of the study. Purposive sampling was utilized to obtain the target population. The population of this study are the alumni of the Benguet State University-College of Nursing, from batch 1994 to 2017. Data collection primarily utilized Google Forms. Disseminated and subjected to qualitative analysis, specifically through categorical frequency distribution. Among the 104 respondents, thirty- seven notable positions were identified, with 29 within healthcare and 8 outside healthcare. In the healthcare field, 17 positions were previously held, and 12 are current, including roles like college dean, associate dean, advanced nurse practitioner, and nurse manager. Outside healthcare, five positions were previously held, and three current, including senior manager, lead analyst, and CEO. The Researchers recommend the research extension of the college to initiate a retrospective study to track the career paths of the nurse graduates of BSU-CN and to include the relationship of academic background to the career path of nurse professionals and the advancement of their chosen careers. en_US
