The study intended to assess the impact of the Farmer Field School-PalayCheck technology conducted in 2011 among rice farmers in Paracelis, Mountain Province, Philippines. The descriptive research method was used in the study to determine the result or effect of the technology. One hundred fifty eight (158) respondents were randomly taken as sample of the study. Findings showed that great majority of the respondents have understood the technology after undergoing the FFS-PalayCheck training. The respondents did not attain full implementation of the technology due to natural calamities making a difficulty in employing all the Key Checks. However, in general there was an increase on the yield of the respondents after employing the technology. The technology was not also fully disseminated since some of the Key Checks needed a hands-on demonstration for better understanding by other farmers in the community. Other problems encountered by the respondents aside from natural calamities were: lack of seed grower, lack of irrigation structures and no soil laboratory in the municipality, lack of drying pavements and farm machineries that caused them not to achieve the full implementation of the technology. The respondents employed the Integrated Rice and Pest Management such as, cultural, mechanical and botanical method in controlling the common problems encountered except for causes of natural calamities.
